From Series ‘Fun with Liquids 2021” - Water on Transparency on glass above light - During quarantine, I did my best to recreate what I had always missed about the darkroom in college. Being up, moving around, engaging with the materials, playing with light objects. I built a light table setup with a canon 5Dmkii above. The hope is that you let the liquid take you someplace that eventually feels interesting. This is one of my favorite images from that period. As a storyteller by trade, I find myself drawn to creating imagery that is not trying to say anything, only to make you feel something.
