Echo Park Barber Shop

from $12.00

In 2012, a friend bought a coffee shop in Echo Park. The spot was on what was known for ages in the neighborhood as ‘Chicken Corner’. I helped her oversee the transition. I got to know the neighboorhood, it’s history and the people in it very well and very quickly. It was one of the last real neighborhoods in the city. I always loved the houses in Echo park. This is from a larger series of houses and facades from the neighborhood. I only wish I took more when I was there.
